PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE ORDERING PRODUCTS ON THIS WEBSITE. OLD TIMES REMEMBERED RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THESE CONDITIONS OF SALE AT ANY TIME.
1. Orders
By ticking the box that confirms you have read and agree to be bound by our Conditions of Sale, you are making an offer to purchase the Product(s), which you have specified in your shopping basket. All orders are subject to acceptance by Old Times Remembered. Within 1 working day of our receipt of your order, you will receive a confirmation of your order by email, along with your order reference number. This number should be retained for future reference. Any acceptance of your order is subject to these conditions of sale and to the availability of stock.
Old Times Remembered reserve the right to withdraw any Products from this site and may, in its sole discretion, refuse to process an order for any reason at any time. Without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer, Old Times Remembered will not be liable to you or a third party by reason of Old Times Remembered withdrawing any Product or refusing to process any order.
2. Availability
We will always endeavour to send you the paper that you have chosen from those publications available for your chosen date. However in rare instances, we may not be able to locate a paper when we come to pick it, even though our stock sheets show availability. We will always contact you if this is the case to enable you to choose an alternative publication or cancel your order.
Where you choose to cancel your order, any sum debited by Old Times Remembered from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Old Times Remembered will notify you of this by email at the email address which you provide in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and, in any event, within 7 days of the date of your cancellation of your order.
3. Price and Payment
All Newspaper gift set prices are quoted in £ sterling. However, if any date you require falls on a historical event, a different price may apply because papers will be rare, but we will contact you before we process the order. There is a delivery charge of £4.95 regardless of size of order for UK deliveries, £20.00 for deliveries within the EU, and £25.00 for deliveries to the rest of the world. Except in the case of dates that fall on important historical events (as described above) or of manifest error, the prices payable for Products that you order are as set out on the Website at the time at which you place your order.
Payment may be made using a wide selection of credit and debit cards (please refer to our Payment Method section in order on line page). You confirm that the credit/debit card which is being used is yours. Your credit/debit card details will be transmitted via the web to a secure server. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. Old Times Remembered reserves the right to refuse credit card payments in its reasonable discretion.
4. Description of Products
The Products depicted on this web-site are as seen. The reproduction of colours and styles are as accurate as photographic and image processing will allow. Old Times Remembered does not accept responsibility for slight variances in colour and style.
5. Cancellation and Returns
No Quibbles Guarantee
Our 'no quibbles' guarantee means that if, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item you have ordered is defective, the wrong date or you have simply changed your mind then, provided that it is in its original condition, and the packaging has not been personalised, you can return it to us for prompt replacement or refund within 7 days of delivery.
Returns
If you want to return an item, simply email us at admin@oldtimesremembered.com, indicating which item(s) and the number of items to be returned, your reason for returning the item, and whether you are seeking a replacement (in which case state the date of the edition you want) or refund. We also ask you to give us a daytime contact telephone number .
Please do not return the item until you have been notified of a returns reference by Old Times Remembered.
Defective Items
If you return an item because of an error on our part, or because it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must be returned in the condition in which you received it within 7 days of delivery.
Change of Mind
Products returned to us because you have changed your mind must be in perfect re-saleable condition, and must be returned within 7 days of delivery. We therefore cannot accept a return if the packaging has been personalised and the order has been fulfilled correctly. Please note that item(s) returned to us for reasons not due to our error or defective Product(s) will not have return postage/shipping costs refunded.
Returned Item(s) Lost in Transit
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the items to us, we recommend sending the packages by Recorded/Special delivery.
Refunds and Replacements
For item(s) returned to us within 7 days of delivery in accordance with these terms and conditions, a refund or replacement will be processed by Old Times Remembered within 7 working days of receipt of the returned items.
A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase.
If you would like a Replacement, this will be to your original product specification (e.g. Gift Box) as detailed on your original order, but please specify the date of the paper you require in your email to us.
6. Delivery
Old Times Remembered will deliver the Products ordered by you to the address, which you give for delivery when you make your order. You may specify a delivery address which is different from your invoice address, if, for example, you would like Old Times Remembered to deliver the Products directly to a friend, a relative, or to your place of work.
There is a delivery charge of £4.95 regardless of size of order for UK deliveries, £20.00 for deliveries within the EU, and £25.00 for deliveries to the rest of the world.
Delivery will be made as soon as possible and usually within 4 days of our receipt of your order.
9. Force Majeure
Old Times Remembered shall have no liability to you for any delay or failure to deliver the Products to the extent that such delay or failure to deliver arises from causes beyond the reasonable control of Old Times Remembered including, but not limited to, fire, floods, acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supranational authority, war, riot, strike, lock-out and industrial disputes.
10. Waiver
No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any rights or remedies, or any subsequent breach of any provision of these Conditions of Sale.
11. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, set out the whole of the agreement between you and Old Times Remembered. Our employees or agents are not authorised to make any representations concerning the Products unless confirmed in writing by Old Times Remembered. You confirm that you do not rely on, and waive any claims for breach of, any such representations, which are not so confirmed.
12. Third Party Rights
A person who is not a party to the contract governed by these Conditions of Sale has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any provision of these Conditions of Sale.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

15. Definitions
" Terms and conditions" means these terms and conditions of sale;
" Product" means any products displayed for purchase on this Website through the Old Times Remembered Shop;
" Returns Policy" the policy governing the cancellation of your order and return of Products, as displayed on the homepage;
" Terms of Use" means the terms governing your use of this Website displayed on the homepage;
" Website" means the website located at www.oldtimesremembered.com
" working day" means a day other than a Saturday or Sunday on which clearing banks are normally open for business in the City of London;
" you" means a user of this Website.
